At conferences it’s easy to get lost in a sea of names, faces and conversations.
2 days later you sit to write 100 follow up emails and you’re like dang, it’s a big mush. You end up sending something generic that gets very low traction…🤦🏻♀️
To create better connections and increase traction from conferences do the following.
After each 3 conversations, walk to the side. Open your Notes on your phone. Write 3 things about each conversation (should take a few seconds):
📌 Name & company: Jake from BlueStar
📌 Something fun/personal: Jake is going skiing next week
📌 Business: Improve their eCommerce text search experience, active project, low conversion, Jake will intro to the Merchandizing team, he liked us
Your follow ups will yield much better traction since they will be more humane, personalized and relevant. 🦸🏻♀️
